CALE

CALE CONLEY - BIO

From the moment Cale strapped into his first go-cart at the age of five, there was no looking back. The past sixteen years have been a consistent, yet strategic pursuit to achieving his ultimate dream of racing in the NASCAR Cup Series.

He launched into quarter midgets immediately following his run with go-carts and proved to be tremendously successful after winning a handful of races, track championships and regional titles.  Three years later, Cale transitioned to the open wheeled, USAC Kenyon midgets where he found equal success in capturing numerous poles and feature wins at various tracks throughout the Midwest.

Shortly after, Cale concentrated his efforts on driving the most powerful oval track racecars competing in the Untied States - the 410-winged sprint car. Why? If he could master and experience success racing these cars, then when opportunity would present itself, he would be that much more prepared for the upper levels of NASCAR - all part of the systematic approach to achieving his dream.  He committed to his plan and spent the next two years traveling the country with the World of Outlaws, O'Reilly All Star Sprints, while simultaneously competing in USAC's dirt/pavement events in the National Sprint Car and National Midget Series. Throughout his two year stint in sprint cars, Cale managed to not only break track records in qualifying, but took home numerous qualifier and hard charger awards.  In addition to his feature wins, one of his most memorable moments occurred at his first DIRTcarNational s at Volusia Speedway when he shocked the 410-sprint car world by winning the Crane Cams Dash and secured the pole position for the World of Outlaws Feature - all at the young age of sixteen.

In 2011 Cale launched his season with his first attempt at competing in stock cars.  To date, he has 33 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East starts, which consist of 4 poles, several top 5 finishes and a victory at Columbus Motor Speedway.

When not in a racecar, Cale can be found spending time with family and friends.  Although his passion is his career, he enjoys traveling (most recently to Italy and India) and the outdoors, and spends his free time snow skiing, golfing, fishing, biking and hiking.   He believes life is about reaching up and out, while appreciating opportunities that come his way and helping as many people he can, along the way.  His faith drives his purpose here on Earth.
